I thought I’d take a moment to blog about some upcoming projects. As of right now through the end of the year there will be no activity in the studio.
Amanda and I recorded a quick demo recently that you can hear on the myspace page. The recording was mainly done for fun, but it has lead us to discuss doing another song. But this time it will be done as a more full scale production.
I have three songs I’m working on finishing right now, including the new one Ryan and I started recently. After that batch of three, I intend to start working on another small batch. The goal is to always keep a batch going.
There’s still more songs from last summer’s batch to release. The next song will come out in January, and it’s called “Mass Chaos”.
John David Palmer started a new track recently that we intend to complete early next year. Be on the look out for that.
I ran into someone recently that I used to work with a long time ago, and were talking about getting together next month and see if we can produce anything. More on that as it happens.

Amanda recording at The Funky Monkey
My fiance Amanda recorded a track in the studio today 
Hello, and welcome to the new Funky Monkey Studio blog. My aim is to start blogging here, moving away from things like Myspace, therefore giving me more control over content and viewers.
In the studio with me yesterday and today is my friend Ryan Kirk. Last month, we started work on a new track that’s almost near completion. The music is all down, and all that remains is recording vocals, mixing, and mastering. We also started work on a demo CD for Ryan. One song is 98% complete at this point, and it won’t take much to take care of that other 2%. I think today we’re going to start a new track for the demo from scratch.
That’s all I have for now. I need to get to configuring all this blogging stuff.
